Last week, we shared the unfortunate news that two of Habitat for Humanity of the Sandhills' construction trailers had been stolen. Thanks to the swift work of the Moore County Sheriff's Office and the support of our community, a suspect has been identified and apprehended.
While we are grateful for that outcome, only a small portion of the tools and equipment taken have been recovered. Many of the items our construction team and volunteers rely on each day to build affordable homes for local families are still missing.

Despite this setback, our work continues. Families are counting on us, volunteers continue to show up, and we're committed to moving forward together.
