It has been wonderful days for softball, and there are more to come. One thing we want to remind everyone about, is that there should not be any glass containers at the field. It is posted and we would ask that the ordinance be followed. Second, a big thank you for all the good sportsmanship, both on the field and in the stands. It makes these games a lot of fun to attend when everyone is getting along. Thank you again, and good luck to all the teams!

FYI: The Recycle Center will now be open 7 days a week, from 8 until dusk. for right now we will only be taking cardboard, and grass clipping. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL, and only leave those two items. as we get setup for other recyclables we will let everyone know. Thank you, and please spread the word.

Have a fun and SAFE Memorial Day weekend! But most of all, lets remember why we are PRIVILEGED to have this long weekend. THANK YOU to everyone who serves, or has served in America's Military.

03/15/2017

If you live or you are visiting someone who lives on the sterling avenue cul-de-sac, please be cautious! The road got water under it, and is very soft. Traffic cones are up, and we would like people to stay off that area. Thank you!

02/24/2017

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE TODAY! Not a lot of snow on the roads, but they are slick, with drifting snow in areas.

02/20/2017

Happy Presidents' Day! We hope everyone is staying dry. If not there is still sand and bags, at Stokes Market. Also, lets check on our neighbors, friends and family to make sure we all get through this flooding season.

02/14/2017

Hopefully flooding has calmed down for everyone, if not please remember that there is a pile of sand along with empty sandbags on the corner of Main and Elmore, in the Stokes parking lot (BIG thank you to Stokes for allowing it! There are a lot of people who are thankful as well.)

01/26/2017

We want to give a shout out and a big thank you, to Nolen Buffi for running his loaders, and the Canal Company, and Foster Farms for driving their dump trucks, to help clear main street. YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!

01/25/2017

The roads are drivable but we all need to still use caution out there... the plan for tomorrow (at this point) is that the city crew will be removing the snow from Main Street. Please be aware of them, for your Safety and theirs.

01/24/2017

Hey Aberdeen, it is highly recommended that you stay off the roads tonight. Visibility is low, and roads are slick. State plows have been out, and the city crew will be up early to start clearing roads again... again unless it is an emergency, please just stay home.

01/09/2017

Road conditions are very slick this morning be extremely cautious as you go out today...

01/07/2017

WINTER TIP.... cold weather like we are having is miserable, and it makes it worse when we wake up in the mornings to find out that our water pipes are frozen. To make it a little less worrisome turn on your facet to a trickle, and let it run through the night. This should stop your pipes from freezing, and let you start your day off better.

01/05/2017

UPDATE... the water break has been repaired and water has been returned that block. However, the hole has not been filled in yet, so please still be careful. Also, the roads are still being plowed, we ask that you be patient if your road has not been done yet, we will get to it. Our city crew have been working nearly non stop on plowing and line repair, and other projects that need their attention.

01/04/2017

There was a water break this afternoon near bingham and 2nd east, the parts will hopefully be here tomorrow, so please take caution if you are in that area.

01/03/2017

JUST A HEADS UP! ... The generators for the wells are running, so the option for water is available, however we still ask that you conserve the water during power outages, to help with other aspects of the city such as the lift stations, and the waste plant. The crews for Idaho power are on the job now, and will hopefully have power for us soon. Thank you.
