🎉 End-of-Year Birthday Celebrations in Abilene! 🎉

Friends for Life had a busy and joyful end of the year, celebrating birthdays with seniors at Mesa Springs Healthcare Center, The Oaks at Radford Hills, Silver Spring Health & Rehabilitation Center, Willowcreek Rehab and Nursing, and Wisteria Place Nursing & Rehabilitation.

It has truly been a fun-filled party season—full of smiles, laughter, cake, and meaningful moments. 💙🎂

📦💛 A huge thank you to H-E-B and their incredible representative, Trenaty, for investing in the Abilene community by donating canned food items to Friends for Life’s Emergency Food Pantry!

Our Independent Living Program has recently received urgent calls for food assistance from seniors in crisis. While applying for long-term food support can take time, thanks to H-E-B’s generosity, we now have immediate resources to help bridge that gap.

At Friends for Life, our mission is to help seniors and adults with disabilities remain independent and safe in their own homes for as long as possible. Emergency resources like this food pantry are a lifeline when time is critical.

Today, we’re celebrating Ms. Lily’s special day! At 71 years young, she says she’s still going strong and loves reading her devotional every morning ❤️👏🏻

Did you know that at Friends for Life Abilene, we celebrate our clients' birthdays to ensure they feel remembered and cherished? Through our Gifts for Grannies and Grandpas Too program, we strive to make birthdays and holidays special for seniors and people with disabilities who might otherwise feel forgotten.

We are always looking for wonderful volunteers and generous donations to keep these celebrations going! If you'd like to volunteer or donate in the Abilene area, please contact Tracy at [email protected] or call (325) 672-2635. We'd love your help in spreading joy!
