Don and Lora Lynn Christensen have provided a $2,000 match donation to Harmony Family Services! These two work tirelessly for our agency, both serving on our board of directors and both having been named to our Harmony Hall of Fame in 2023.  Lora Lynn currently serves as our board chairman, and Don donates many hours of service to our emergency shelter in keeping things in working order for us. Our kids come from hard places and are in need of support, guidance, and loving care. For almost 60 years, Harmony Family Services has provided this care through either a foster home, the emergency shelter, the former Abilene girls home, the Lacy treatment center, or one of our other programs. Today we continue to provide foster care and emergency shelter care. Your donation will help to ensure these services remain available for the children and youth of our community. And thanks to our match donors, your gift will be doubled, tripled, or even more until all of the match funds have been expended! Thank you for your support! All kids deserve a bright today and tomorrow!

For over 50 years, Harmony Family Services has provided safety, stability and support to at‑risk children and families in crisis. Their team offers 24‑hour emergency shelter care and nurturing foster homes for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, homelessness or unsafe environments.

Their mission is rooted in compassion, healing and helping children rebuild hope for a brighter future.

From counseling services to crisis shelter support, Harmony Family Services remains a reliable resource for children who need protection, care and a place to call home.
