Abilene Founder Lions Club Meeting Times: 11:45 am to 1:00 pm on Thursdays at MCM Elegante at the Remington Lounge. Buffet style dining. Monthly dues including all meals is $45.

Abilene Founder Lions Club is the oldest service club in Abilene and a founding club of Lions International. Chartered on February 15th, 1917 at the Grace Hotel in downtown Abilene, Texas, and then known as the Downtown Lions Club, the club along with Lions Club International has made it its mission to help people with special needs world wide. Currently we donate to LCIF, Texas Children's Lions C

amp in Kerrville, Texas, Lee Elementary(AISD), Northern Little League, Regional Crime Victim Crisis Center, Abilene Food Bank, as well as the Texas Lions Eye and Tissue Bank and Eyeglasses fund.
