Did you know that a “Little Guardian” officially ages out at 18? For so many years, we watch these children walk through the door filled with fear, anxiety, and deep uncertainty about their future. But time and time again we witness an incredible transformation. We watch these resilient Little Guardians find their voice, step into their own light, and loudly demand that their presence be known. As they transition into adulthood, they carry a powerful message of survival and reclamation: “I am a Victor, not a victim. I take back my power. “Turning 18 is not the end of their story—it is the beginning of their independence. Let’s continue to support, lift up, and celebrate our aging-out LGs as they reclaim their narratives and step confidently into adulthood.
