First responders have teamed up with Marsh Regional Blood Center to see which Abingdon agency brings in the most donors, and YOU decide who gets the credit. 🏆

With a goal of 300 donors, just one donation can save up to 3 lives. ❤️

ATMOS Gas will be making tie in connections to the newly installed main lines along Mink Place today, Thursday, June 4, 2026. There will we limited access and closures in the area to accommodate the equipment in the roadway.

Please follow any posted signage, detours, and/or flaggers in the area.

The Abingdon Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the family of Deputy Logan Utt. We honor his service and sacrifice and keep all those affected in our thoughts during this difficult time.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Washington County Service Authority will be working to locate a water line on Wyndale Road, from Porterfield Highway/Main Street intersection to Village Boulevard. The work is scheduled to be completed between 7:00am and 11:00am.

This section of Wyndale Road will be closed so that work can be conducted safely and detours will be in place. Village Blvd. will remain open. Please use caution when in the area and follow any posted signage or flaggers.
