We’re looking for traditional crafters and artisans to help bring history to life on August 1st, 2026. From broom making, knitting, crochet, soap making, and chainsaw art to old-time toys, games, and more — we want to showcase the skills and traditions of the past.

White's Mill is a historic water-powered grist mill dating back to the 1790s, still producing stone-ground cornmeal and grits today. Operated by volunteers, it preserves Appalachian milling traditions and serves as a living piece of local history.

This here historic mill is lookin’ for good folks with grit to help keep the stones turnin’ and the stories rollin’ April through October.

Many roles need fillin’ — some for a spell, some for the whole season. No experience required, just a strong back, a friendly smile, and a hankerin’ to keep history alive.

Pay ain’t in gold… but the reward is community, heritage, and a mighty fine time.
