On Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m., meet author Kathleen Curtis Wilson, the foremost expert on textiles of the Appalachian region, who has republished her book on textiles, “The Quiet Work of Women: Textile Art from Southern Appalachia,” as well as her first historical novel, “The Fabric of Wishful Thinking.”
Kathleen and her husband Bob Harman owned Old Abingdon Weavers for many years. She has retired to Blacksburg, Virginia, where she continues to write and curate textile exhibits.
