🐾 Animal Shelter Closure Notice 🐾

The Washington County Animal Shelter will be closed for the next couple of weeks and plans to reopen on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

During this closure, the shelter will not be accepting any animals or conducting adoptions.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Please continue to follow our page for any updates regarding the reopening. 🐾

Shelter Day was a huge success! ❤️ Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our shelter animals.

We are thrilled that 10 dogs and 2 cats were adopted! 🐶🐱 We also had several people join holding lists for animals that will soon be available for adoption.

Thank you for helping us find loving homes for these deserving animals! 🐾🏡
