NOTICE
The City of Abingdon is accepting sealed bids for vacant real estate the address are as follows:
SEALED BIDS BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE
SEALED BIDS are being accepted for the sale of certain real estate owned by and located in the City of Abingdon. The information for the aforesaid real estate is set forth below and shall be offered for sale AS IS, without representation warranty of any kind, subject to all real estate taxes, special assessments, governmental rules and regulations, zoning, easements, covenants, restrictions and rights-of-way of record, to the best and highest bidder and will be conveyed by quitclaim deed.
Sealed bids are to be submitted to the City Clerk by September 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to opened and considered at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Abingdon on September 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The City of Abingdon reserves the absolute right, in the exercise of its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the proposals. Any proposal submitted shall be binding for a period of 60 days after the date of the proposal opening.
