This week, Green Spring Volunteer Fire Department had the opportunity to assist with a D.A.R.E. picnic for local 5th graders. Our members enjoyed talking with the students about our fire trucks, equipment, and the important role firefighters play in the community. We even got to sign a few shirts!

We're grateful to have been part of this event. Building connections with our youth is important to us, and opportunities like this help strengthen those relationships while inspiring the next generation.

During EMS Week, we want to recognize the EMTs, Paramedics, and first responders who serve our community each and every day. From answering late night calls to helping neighbors during difficult moments, these individuals are always willing to step up when someone needs help.

The care, compassion, and dedication shown by EMS providers make a difference in the lives of so many throughout our community.
