A FYI from our friends Harford County Department of Emergency Services... the latest weather information for the weekend.

Saturday will be very cold with wind chills around 0 to 10 degrees.
We have a Winter Storm threat for Sunday Afternoon into Monday Morning. The weather system models look like the system will move further inland and therefore the snow amounts should be less for Harford County. At this time, the projected snow amounts are 3 to 4 inches for Harford County and the worst case around 7 inches of snow. The NWS thinks that it will start out as snow and then transition over to freezing rain and/or all rain as the system works it's way through. The wind gusts will also pick up to around 40 mph Sunday Night and it will continue windy during the day on Monday. I will continue to give updates as I get them from the NWS.

Please be safe and plan accordingly. Harford County Government; Harford County Office of Community and Economic Development

**Test Notice**
APG has daytime and nighttime testing operations scheduled for January 4, approximately 10:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and January 5-7, approximately 8:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Noise may be heard in some areas off the installation.

The surrounding communities may hear weapon firing and see flashes or light visible off post from illumination devices. These operations are not hazardous to residents in our surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members.

Organizations on APG take every measure to mitigate instances when training or testing becomes problematic to residents off the installation. To ensure we minimize the impact to our neighbors, we monitor the weather and the noise readings continuously throughout each day. APG leadership takes noise complaints very seriously and wants to provide as much transparency as possible to the surrounding communities without compromising the security of the missions conducted here.

If, at any time, anyone in the surrounding communities is concerned about testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground, they are encouraged to contact the installation at 410-278-4415.

I am new to this page. I am so confused w these schedules for the link bus. I live in edgewood Woodbridge actually and I just got a job at Macy's. I have orientation today at 10 am. I should have had a ride so I know this is short notice but if anyone also has this orientation today and would b willing to take me I could offer a few dollars for gas. I also start working officially tom at 8am-1 pm. Thank you so much for ur time.
Please open fixed route buses soon.
Hi. Please talk to drivers about not leaving stops too early (to depart at the scheduled time or later). Also, where is the #2 bus (blue line) supposed to stop when they arrive at the Edgewood ALDI store? There is no Harford Transit bus stop sign there, and I thought pickups/dropoffs would be right by the front door, but lately I’m seeing drivers pull in there and not even go close to the front entrance. So if I have bags of groceries, am I really supposed to A) stand smack dab in the middle of the ALDI parking lot (where these drivers are turning in at, and looking for passengers)...or am I B ) supposed to stand by the front door where the shopping carts are? Option A is not smart at all, and also dangerous. Option B makes more sense, and is safer.
A couple nights ago I was walking around trying to find the #3 (Silver) bus stop across the street from the 7-11 at Long Bar Harbor Road to catch the 6:57 pm bus to Edgewood. It was cold and dark, and I couldn’t find it at first. I called Harford Transit to ask and to make sure the driver looks for me. The woman on the phone kept saying the stop is over there and “I’m not going to argue with you.” 👀 Rude. I told her “Um...excuse me... I WASN’T arguing with you. Just looking for the bus stop, so I don’t miss my bus.” Yes, I found the bus stop after I got off the phone with her. But if you’re going to have a job in customer service, adjust the attitude. This isn’t my first time dealing with a rude person answering the phone there either. The following evening my boss drove me to the bus stop, and even SHE didn’t see the bus stop sign at first. She ended up just taking me all the way to my destination, because she didn’t like the bus stop being right there where there’s no sidewalk or anything...and she wasn’t comfortable leaving me standing in that spot in the dark.

This new schedule does not work for me and when I call dispatch no resolution. I did not have this problem with the old schedule, now I’m late everyday for work. Someone please help. Please explain how I can’t get a courteous stop anymore it this is the only way I can get the bus without me getting to work late! @Harfordlink @glassglenn @harfordcounty
