Do check out Philly Archery for your scouts! Support this local and small business in the heart of Philadelphia!The owners are phenomenal! Guillermo worked with me on a great scout group rate, provided plenty of instructors and personal attention, set up games and challenges to make archery fun and exciting (more so than it already is!) and made sure all scouts of all ages and skill level could achieve success. I also love that they use a portion of their funds to make adaptive bows for people with disabilities. The scouts were cheering, laughing for hours!

Thank you Mr. Chen and Ms. Jennifer from Nifty Fifty’s Abington for supporting Troop 1. It was so wonderful to hear that Ms Jennifer’s son used to be a scout as well! She knows first hand what a great program it is for youth to build a supportive community together!
It also didn’t hurt that the boys got nifty fifty’s delicious milkshakes later that evening!

Troop 1 had a fantastic time whitewater rafting! For many scouts , this was their first time! They learned to work as a team, to appreciate the importance of giving specific directions, to give orders in a commanding voice, and to love nature. We saw families of ducks, a few bald eagles, waved back to the many people at Jim Thorpe watching us go down the river!! Thank you to JTRA and guides Linda, Jen, and CJ for keeping us safe while giving us maximum thrill!
