Celebrate the final day of Abington Fest 2026 with a Parent-Child Golf Tournament at Alverthorpe Park on Sunday, October 4! 🏌️‍♂️⛳ This event is for children ages 7–12 and their parent or guardian and will take place on the Par 3 Chip & Putt course with two sessions available at 10 AM and 12 PM. The cost is $20 per team, and all participants must be Abington Township residents. Register at www.abingtonpa.gov/PRregistration.

The Abington Fest 5K and Kids' Dash will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026! These races are part of a weekend of celebrations in Abington Township.

🕗 Kids' Dash (Ages 2 - 10) – Starts at 8 AM
Held on the Marsden Soccer Field at Roslyn Park, the Kids' Dash features staggered start times by age group. Every child who participates will receive a medal! 🏅 Cost: Free

🕗 5K Run or Walk – Starts at 8:30 AM
The course begins and ends in Roslyn Park, weaving through the Roslyn neighborhood. Expect rolling uphills in the first half and a downhill finish in the second.

Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each gender category, plus an award for the top Abington resident in each category! 🏅

Cost: $30 (ages 18+) | $20 (ages 5–17)

We’ll start the day exploring the famous Green Dragon Farmers Market & Auction, featuring more than 100 local vendors and a variety of unique shopping options. Then, we’ll head to Shady Maple Smorgasbord, home to the largest buffet in the USA. Please note, the price does not include admission to the buffet.
