🚫 NO latex/acrylic paint accepted at any collection β€” it's not hazardous, just messy! Still-usable paint can go to Recolor Paints in Hanover (fee); unusable paint can be dried with kitty litter and tossed in regular trash.

WATER INTERCONNECTION ACTIVATION

The Abington & Rockland Joint Water Works (ARMM/) will be activating our interconnection with Whitman Water Department today (August 22, 2026) to supplement our water supply during the current water shortage.

This measure is being taken as a precaution to help maintain a safe and reliable water supply for our community.

Residents may notice temporary changes in water appearance, including discoloration, as water hydraulics will be changing.

The Abington & Rockland Joint Water Works will be monitoring the system and is prepared to address water quality concerns that may arise.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and support as we work to protect our community's water supply.

Please continue to conserve water and follow all current level 4 water use restrictions (most importantly, please shut off all outside irrigation).

Please contact the ARJV4vmv/ office with any questions: 781-878-0901
