Kick off Summer Prince George's (SPG) at your local branch! Drop by to sign up for SPG, dig for gems, hunt for dinosaur eggs, create crafts, and pick up prizes (while supplies last.) Registering for this event does not automatically enroll you in Summer Prince George's. Staff will be on site to assist.

The winter cold is no match for library fun! This winter, the PGCMLS community is invited to participate in the Wizards Winter Reading Challenge. ❄️

All you have to do is log your activity — such as reading, staying active, participating in library programs, and more — for a chance to win a variety of prizes, including Washington Wizards tickets and a Wizards prize pack.

From December 15, 2025 through March 14, 2026, PGCMLS customers of all ages can sign up and earn badges toward awesome prizes!

Plus, Elementary and middle school students who register will receive a meal bookmark for a free three-piece chicken tender meal at any Popeyes in Prince George’s County. Talk to your local branch library staff to learn more or for help registering.
