"After graduating from iLEAD Online High School, I will be attending California State University Channel Islands, where I plan to study nursing in order to become a labor and delivery nurse. During high school, I was involved in competitive Greek dance, volunteer work at a private school, and a ton of nannying, babysitting, and tutoring jobs. Through these experiences, I have learned how to express myself by doing things I enjoy that bring out the best in me. One of my proudest moments of my high school career is keeping a 4.0 GPA throughout all four years. I would like to thank my mom and my dad for believing in me. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the two of them. In the future, I hope to continue being a lifelong learner. I am excited to begin this next chapter of my life."

"During my senior year, I earned an internship with a local construction company, which led to a full-time job opportunity after graduation, an achievement that means a lot to me. Through this experience, I discovered a passion for construction and gained respect for the skill, knowledge, and hard work that the trade requires. As I move forward, I plan to continue building my career in this field and keep learning every day.

"I want to sincerely thank my parents, who have given me everything and for always pushing me to become the best version of myself and for shaping me into the person I am today. I also want to thank my older brother, who I look up to and admire, and my older sister for their support and encouragement. I am also deeply grateful to my teachers and coaches for their guidance, patience and encouragement throughout my journey."

"One of achievements as a student was becoming vice president of the school's National Honor Society. I was also able to be a pillar of my community by working at my community's ASYMCA for nearly a year. I also frequently volunteered there in fundraisers, food pantries, and community events prior to working there.

"I will be attending the University of Glasgow in Scotland next school year, majoring in English Literature. I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to homeschool, which helped me achieve all that I have, including being accepted to my dream school."

"Throughout my time as a student I have taken college courses while in high school and volunteered my time. I was accepted into the University of California, where I will be studying to become an Occupational Therapist. I wish to thank my mother. She has lifted me up and encouraged me like no one else. She has shaped me into the person I am today and I wouldn't have gotten here without her. I am so grateful and blessed to have her as my mom."

"If high school has taught me anything, it's that a meaningful life is less about avoiding the collisions and more about how you respond! My four years on the varsity basketball court were a dramatic highlight reel of championships, gut-wrenching playoff losses, and one particularly memorable torn meniscus that put me in physical therapy for over a year. The true victory, however, was the resilience and optimism that fueled my comeback, culminating in a successful season with SoCal Basketball Academy. With this experience serving as my foundation in persistence and growth, I'm ready to take the next jump to College Hoops and the next chapter in my academic pursuits!

"A special note of appreciation to my solid support team: Mom and Dad, whose guidance never wavered, and Coach Julius, for always believing in me. I also want to thank my counselor, Shannon Eckhardt, for continuing to push me to get work completed, even when I was exhausted from my tough workout schedule, and my academic lifeline, tutor Ashley Sawyer, who always helped me conquer the classroom challenges. I could not have done this without all your support. Onward!"
