First Community CPR Class in the Books!

This past Thursday, Kassi hosted our first American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR class at the station, and it was a full house! Thank you to everyone who attended and took the time to learn lifesaving skills.

We're excited to continue offering these free community classes once a month. Our August class is already full, but keep an eye on our page for registration information for the September class.

Due to the number of requests we've received, our October class will be geared toward teens and young adults—a great opportunity for your child or grandchild to learn CPR and gain the confidence to help in an emergency.

Thank you for supporting these classes and helping make our community a safer place—one class at a time!

❤️ FREE Community CPR Class – Hosted by Acton Fire-Rescue ❤️

Would you know what to do if someone suddenly collapsed or stopped breathing? Learning CPR gives you the knowledge and confidence to step in during those critical first moments before emergency responders arrive.

Acton Fire-Rescue is proud to offer a FREE American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED class for our community.

Priority registration will be given to Acton residents. If space is available, we will gladly welcome residents from surrounding communities.

This class includes a Certificate of Completion (You do not receive the AHA certification card).

During this hands-on class, you'll learn:
✅ How to recognize a cardiac emergency
✅ High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
✅ How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
✅ How to help someone who is choking
✅ The Chain of Survival and the importance of early action
