Fire Department Stats for March 2026
We responded to 161 calls for service.
Breakdown as follows:
EMS calls: 122
Fires (of all types): 4
False Alarms: 8
Good Intent and Cancels: 7
Service Calls: 12
Hazardous conditions: 8
Of the 122 EMS calls, 100 ended in a Patient transported to the hospital.
We provided mutual aid to our neighboring communities 36 times, and only required 6 responses in return. This is a testament to the dedication of our staff, who continue to give their all to our town and respond, even when off duty.
On top of all of that, the department also conducted 21 fire prevention inspections and accumulated 64 hours of coordinated fire training. Impromptu shift training is not included in this number, nor are hours of EMS training and classes.
