Ed Setzler is a husband, father of four, and leader in the architecture and engineering industry where he has directed nationwide design, historic preservation, construction, and environmental programs nationwide for over 20-years. Born in Atlanta, Ed earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Furman University in 1992. A graduate of the United States Army Ranger School, Ed served as a US Army
officer for nine years with leadership assignments in Europe, North Africa, the Persian Gulf, and Fort Stewart, GA as Commander of a 211-soldier company in the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized). An Eagle Scout with a passion for youth ministry, Ed didn’t spend his life planning to run for office, however, when the opportunity came, Ed stepped away from his private life as a Dad and youth Soccer coach to become a champion for Truth at the State Capitol. A citizen legislator who for his entire time in the State House has served in challenging 50-hour/week leadership roles in the architecture/engineering industry, Ed has built a successful business serving clients in over 40-states on projects of national significance. A proven conservative fighter who has never forgotten that regular people and “the least of these” are who matter, Ed is ready to take this leadership to the State Senate. Despite the vicious attacks and threats from the radical Left, Ed Setzler has led when it mattered most. He is a battle-tested conservative warrior who has delivered against all odds, including attacks from the radical Left and hidden threats within his own party. With Biden’s radical agenda and crippling inflation threatening our future, Ed’s deep experience in beating Stacey Abrams and the Left both in committee and on the House floor, proves him as the conservative leader that Georgia needs to win in the Senate. Ed Setzler has led. He is a proven conservative fighter with a winning track record of results. We can trust Ed to deliver real conservative reforms for Georgia families and businesses in the State Senate. Vote for Ed Setzler in the May 24th Republican primary.
