One Pound of M**h Seized in Ada Drug Bust Following Six-Month Investigation
ADA, OKLAHOMA – On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Special Agents with the District 22 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence located at 2130 Egypt Road in Ada, Oklahoma.
The warrant was the result of a six-month investigation into m**hamphetamine trafficking in Ada and surrounding areas. During the search, agents seized approximately one pound of m**hamphetamine, along with packaging materials and a large amount of U.S. currency believed to be drug proceeds.
Orlando Craig Lewis was arrested at the scene after attempting to conceal himself in the attic as Special Agents entered the residence. Special Agents also discovered that minor children were living in the home where an active narcotics trafficking operations were frequently being conducted. The presence of children in such a hazardous environment led to child endangerment charges and notification to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
As a result of the investigation:
Orlando Craig Lewis has been charged in Pontotoc County District Court with aggravated trafficking of m**hamphetamine, possession of drug proceeds, and child endangerment.
Cassie Jo Wallen, the mother of the children and the girlfriend of Lewis, was also arrested on scene and has been charged in Chickasaw Nation Tribal Court with child endangerment.
The arrest of Orlando Lewis disrupts a significant source of m**hamphetamine distribution in Ada and surrounding areas.
The operation was conducted with support from the City of Ada, Oklahoma Police Department.
“I’m proud of the dedicated work our Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force continues to do to protect this community,” said District Attorney Erik Johnson. “We are actively identifying and targeting those who distribute dangerous drugs in Ada and across the rural areas, towns, and communities we serve in District 22. If you’re trafficking m**h, fentanyl, or anything else that endangers our people — expect a knock at your door. We’re not backing down.”

All individuals mentioned in this release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
