🚒🔥ANNOUNCEMENT🔥🚒

The Officers & Members of the Adah Vol. Fire Department is proud to announce the "new to us" 1 Squad is now officially in service!

Through hard work and dedication of our Volunteers and their fundraising efforts, we were able to replace our 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with this 2021 version! This vehicle responds first out on a majority of our calls such as fires, rescues and ems calls! It is equipped with our EMS Equipment, Chain Saws, Hazmat, pumps, & traffic control equipment. This vehicle also can tow our Rescue Boat & SXS!

Special Thank You to Michaels Auto Sales of Carmichaels, 10-7 EVS of Connellsville (Trey Rechenburg) for the emergency lightening upfit, Fun Truckin' of German Township for the Tool Boxes, Tony's Tires of Masontown for the sweet deal on new tires, All American Fire Equipment for additional emergency equipment & Helltown Concepts & Designs for the awesome lettering! We also can't forget the generous anonymous Resident of Hibbs whom covered the cost of the new tires for us!

We also cannot forget about our dedicated supporters! Without you all, this would not be possible!

Today, Volunteers from Adah VFD, as well our fellow German Township Fire Departments (Edenborn, Footedale & McClellandtown) conducted a Fire Prevention Program at George J. Plava Elementary!

We are proud to announce, with a partnership between Lowe's Home Improvement & our German Township Supervisors, we were able to distribute 80 Smoke Detectors to our youth! We showed them the importance of a smoke detector and advised those whom received one to make sure that get it in service immediately!

It was a great job by all & we hope the kids learned something!
