We are so grateful for all of the support we have received through our fundraising process. Our latest total raised is $1,066,787. That's amazing! And we certainly wouldn't be where we are without the patience and generosity of Cheshire Roof & Stone. They have faced multiple challenges in accomplishing the necessary work, but have faced them all as they come. For example, the tall lift caused some damage to a small amount of a concrete area. They are donating the time and materials to repour the entire area, rather than just trying to remediate the damaged portion. What a blessing for us! Thank you all for making the preservation of our beautiful church possible. Visit us at sskpreservation.org to find out what you can do to help.

We pray today for all those who have given their lives for our country. We are so grateful for their sacrifice!

The great news -- it is almost time for Cheshire Roof and Stone to restart their work! The plan is for a 65-foot lift to be onsite on April 6, with the 185-foot lift arriving on April 20. The other news -- inspection of our electrical system has revealed it may not be adequate to support a handicapped lift. The lift is tied to our plan for accessible bathrooms in Kolbe Hall -- when we install them, we will also need to install the lift because the accessible bathrooms need to be able to be accessed by all. But never fear! We are in the process of identifying solutions to our dilemma so that we can get Kolbe Hall renovated and open once again. None of this would be possible without you. We are so very grateful! Visit us at sskpreservation.org for all our latest news.
