Mayor Jackie Hamm, along with the other City Commissioners, appointed Kevin Howell for the open seat on the board at the last City Commission Meeting. Kevin lives, works, and has raised his family in Adamsville. Kevin will also be running in November’s election for a full 4-year term. We are excited to have him join us at the table, and appreciate his willingness to serve Adamsville! Thank you to our City Judge for swearing him in for the rest of the current term!

Great post by Pickwick Electric! A very dangerous incident happened to our Adamsville water crew just yesterday. We had signs blocking the road and a driver just decided to ignore them and could have hit any of our workers while barreling through. Please don't dismiss these signs, cones, or flashing lights. They are there for a reason and we want all of the crews working in our area to be safe to return home to their families!

Every cone, bucket truck and flashing light represents someone doing an important job — and someone who wants to make it home safely at the end of the day.

Move Over. Slow Down.

The wait is over!

After a long wait, I am excited to share that drilling for the much anticipated wells will begin tomorrow morning!

This has been a long process, and I am grateful for your patience and support. These wells represent an important step forward for our community and the future of our water system.

Thank you to the ones who worked behind the scenes to help make this possible. We look forward to keeping our community updated as the project moves forward!
