West Baton Rouge Parish Prepares for Tropical Storm Francine: Sandbag Distribution and Bulk Trash Pickup Information
West Baton Rouge Parish is actively preparing for Tropical Storm Francine, which is expected to impact our region. The West Baton Rouge Parish Government, Council, Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security, and Fire Department have been meeting to prepare for the storm, establishing sandbag distribution points and taking additional measures to ensure a coordinated and effective response to potential weather-related challenges.

Please Note: Residents must bring their own shovel to fill the sandbags.
Additionally, our road crews are working diligently to pick up bulk trash throughout the parish. To assist us in managing this task effectively, please ensure that only bulk trash which is already placed out is collected. We request that residents hold off on putting out any new bulk trash until after the storm has passed.
