When a few of our biggest teen readers noticed the shelves in our temporary teen area were in need of a little TLC, these mini librarians came to the rescue! 🫶

Our teens bring curiosity and creativity to the library every day. We love seeing them here and can’t wait to welcome them into their brand-new teen space later this summer!

See everyone tonight at the first Rock 'N Wheels of the season! 😎

The stage is up and it’s a beautiful day to kick off Rock ‘N Wheels! DSL Dire Straits Legacy is taking over the Village Green at 8 pm. Opening up the night is Deacon Blues Official (Steely Dan Tribute) at 6:30 pm.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Addison's very own: 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara's Polish Deli, Flavor Frenzy, Lou Malnati's, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla-Addison, and Dunkley's Tavern.

Addison Historical Museum Open House 5:30 - 8 p.m., featuring a Craft and Vintage Fair. Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center in spots along Lake Street only.

Celebrate Pride with a DIY Everyone Welcome door mat! 🌈

Participants will use a pre-cut stencil of “Everyone Welcome” to paint their door mat in Pride colors. We'll also demo how the stencil was made using our Cricut Maker. Open to adults and grades 6–12. Space is limited!

We’re saddened to learn of the passing of Judith Easton, who served on the Addison Public Library Board of Trustees from 2019–2022.

We’re grateful for her dedication and service to our community, and we extend our condolences to her family and friends.
