Less than five days away! Buy your tickets now for the 9th annual "Addison Uncorked" fundraiser being held by the Addison Historical Society , Addison Center for the Arts, and the Women's Club of Addison. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 9th from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Addison Historical Museum.

Sponsored by GreenState Credit Union, participants will be able to sample a variety of vintage wines, craft beers, and hard seltzers provided by Lynfred Winery, Church St. Brewing Company, and Sal's Beverage World. Meanwhile, guests can also enjoy entertainment by Chicagoland musical artist, Jane Allyson who will be performing a mix of jazz and yacht rock classics. There will also be light refreshments, including pizza slices from local Addison businesses.

Advance tickets are being sold at $30 per person and may be purchased online using the QR code on this post. However, tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the event for $35 each. To attend you must be at least 21 years old. Attendees will also have the option to participate in a "Spilt the Pot" raffle, so guests are encouraged to bring extra cash!

The event will take place on the grounds of the Addison Historical Museum, located at 135 W. Army Trail Boulevard south of Village Hall. Missed last night's Rock 'N Wheels? Don't worry, the summer is only getting started! Join us on Thursday, June 11 for a night packed with fun!
Blues Rocker/Guitar God Pat Travers Band will take the stage at 8 p.m. at Rock 'N Wheels. You know him for classics like "Snortin' Whiskey," "Crash and Burn," and "Boom Boom Out Go the Lights." Travers. He started his career in 1976, and has recorded over 30 albums!

Opening the night is TV celebrity Danny Koker from Counting Cars, with his Classic Rock band "Counts 77" taking the stage at 6:30. Danny Koker, a custom car and bike builder, will also be walking the grounds and checking out the bikes. Bring your hot rods and custom motorcycles on June 11. Custom bikes can park on May Street, adjacent to the event site. Hot rods can park at Green Meadow Shopping Center, in the southernmost spots.

In addition, come witness the 4th and 5th generations of stunt motorcycle riders as they defy gravity in the Urius Family Globe of Death! How many motorcycles can fit in a 16-foot sphere and cheat death? Come and find out at their third appearance here in Addison at Rock 'N Wheels.

The night will be jam packed with fun! Free entry and admission. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Amazing night by the museum during Rock ‘N Wheels! There was a stunning portrayal of George Washington done by Terry Lynch, and a chance to ring the historic fire bell to celebrate America 250! There was also a chance to walk through the museum from 6 to 8 p.m., and the Craft & Vintage Fair going on as well!

The stage is up and it’s a great day to kick off Rock ‘N Wheels! Jump, a Van Halen Tribute, is taking over the Village Green at 8 pm. Opening up the night is Bad Motor Scooter (A Tribute to Sammy Hagar) at 6:30 pm.

Food, beverages, and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison's very own: 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara's Polish Deli, La Michoacana, Holy Smokes, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla, and Dunkley's Tavern!

Addison Historical Museum Open House 6 to 8 p.m., featuring a Craft and Vintage Fair. Bike parking can be found on May Street, while the classic car show will take place in the Green Meadow Shopping Center, in the southernmost spots.

Tomorrow we kick the summer season off once more with Rock ‘N Wheels from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Village Green! We will start off the weekly band performances with the Van Halen tribute band Jump at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 4. Setting the stage for them will be the opening band, Bad Motor Scooter, a tribute to Sammy Hagar, who will start off our show at 6:30 p.m.

Continuing the fun will be a historical reenactment of George Washington done by the talented Terry Lynch in front of the Addison Historical Museum. The excitement at the museum doesn’t end there, however! Come stop by the Craft and Vintage fair lining the museum buildings or come inside to enjoy exhibits of Addison’s history from 6 to 8 p.m.

Food, beverages, and ice cream will be available for purchase from Addison’s very own: 601 Bar & Grill, Barbara’s Polish Deli, La Michoacana, Holy Smokes, Muggs-N-Manor, Tacos Puebla, and Dunkley’s Tavern.

Additionally, stop by the Car Show located at Green Meadow Shopping Center where you can see classic cars in the spots along Lake Street only. Additionally, custom bikes can park on the East side of May Street to be viewed as well.

Get excited, because next week your favorite summer tradition is coming back to the Village Green! Thursday, June 4th, marks the first Rock 'N Wheels of the season, from 6 to 10 p.m. The Village of Addison will host the Van Halen tribute band, JUMP - America’s Van Halen Experience , headlining at 8 p.m. They will be opened by Sammy Hagar Tribute - Bad Motor Scooter, starting at 6:30 p.m.

You know the fun doesn't stop there! Each week there will be historical portrayals at the Addison Historical Museum to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA. June 4th will highlight George Washington, portrayed by Terry Lynch. There will also be an opportunity to ring the historical fire bell, weather permitting, on the museum grounds. You can also look forward to entry inside to view the exhibits in the museum buildings, as well as perusing the Craft & Vintage Fair lined up outside.
