Democratic Women of DuPage County Membership is open to all who share these goals.

The Democratic Women of DuPage County (DWDC) is recognized by the Democratic Party of Illinois and was founded to create a forum for Democratic Women to work together to promote the ideals of the Democratic Party and to foster the participation of women in all levels of the Democratic Party.

Have Republican members of Congress finally reached their breaking point with Donald Trump? Could the proposed $1.776 billion slush fund be the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back?

The reality is this: Congressional Republicans are unlikely to rein in Trump until the political risk of continuing to blindly follow him becomes greater than the risk of standing up to him. That only happens when constituents make clear they’ve had enough.

Yesterday may have offered a glimpse of a shift. The House recessed a day early after failing to pass the reconciliation bill. Why? Because enough Republicans appear to be breaking ranks — and crossing the aisle — to make a difference.

Is this the beginning of a turning point, or just a temporary crack in the wall?
