🚒 Apparatus Spotlight: Engine 71 🚒
The Addison Fire Protection District #1 would like to highlight Engine 71, proudly serving and protecting our community every day.
Engine 71 is a 2025 Pierce Enforcer engine designed to handle a wide variety of emergencies with advanced firefighting, rescue, and medical capabilities.
🔥 Engine Specifications:
• 750-gallon water tank
• 1,500 gallon-per-minute pump
• Two 200’ pre-connected 1¾” attack lines
• One 250’ pre-connected 2½” attack line
• 700 feet of 3” supply line
• Two 1¾” skid lines off the rear
• 1,000 feet of 4” large diameter hose for water supply operations
🚨 Advanced Technology:
Engine 71 is equipped with the latest CORE electrical system technology, which is also utilized by the Addison Police Department. This system allows emergency vehicles to synchronize scene lighting and warning lights, improving safety and visibility for responders and the public during emergency incidents.
🛠️ Rescue & EMS Capabilities:
In addition to carrying a full complement of firefighting equipment, Engine 71 is equipped with light extrication tools for vehicle accidents. The apparatus is also a fully ALS-capable engine, carrying advanced life support medical equipment to provide immediate patient care when seconds matter most.
