Dear Addison community:

Free lunch will be available for all ASD4 families and community members this summer at Lincoln Elementary School.

OrganicLife will be at Lincoln School every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, handing out lunches to the community from June 2 through July 30.

Kids are welcome to eat lunch and enjoy time playing at the park afterward.

We hope to see you there!

Shoutout to the staff members leading the work behind Indian Trail’s new House System for the 2026–2027 school year.

Our House Leaders have been planning, organizing, and preparing to help bring this program to life for students and staff. Their work will help build stronger connections, school spirit, and opportunities for students across all grade levels at Indian Trail Junior High!

The excitement is building at Indian Trail!

Today, Mr. V officially got sorted into a house as part of our new schoolwide House System rolling out for the 2026–2027 school year! Inspired by the The Ron Clark Academy, the House System is designed to build school spirit, leadership, relationships, and a strong sense of belonging for all students and staff.

Now the big question…

Today, all Indian Trail Junior High staff were officially sorted into houses!

Inspired by “The Ron Clark Academy House System,” Indian Trail is launching a schoolwide culture initiative for the 2026–2027 school year focused on leadership, belonging, character, and school spirit. The House System helps create connections across grade levels while building teamwork, positive relationships, and a stronger sense of community.

Beginning next school year, every Indian Trail student will be welcomed into one of six houses:

- Reveur
- Onraka
- Amistad
- Sollevare
- Altruismo
- Isibindi

Throughout the year, houses will participate in team-building activities, celebrations, friendly competitions, and opportunities to earn points by demonstrating positive character traits and school pride.

Today was just the beginning, and we can’t wait for all students to experience the excitement and community that the House System will bring to Indian Trail!

Yesterday was a reminder of how important teamwork and leadership are in a school community. We are incredibly grateful for our amazing staff for helping ensure our students remained safe, calm, and cared for during yesterday’s evacuation.

A special thank you to our school secretary, Jen Angiulo, and our nurse, Jamie Markopoulos, for their calm leadership and support throughout the day.
