DCEMS is offering a FREE Stop the Bleed training, and we want YOU to be part of it!

Did you know? 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to uncontrolled bleeding. That means many of these deaths could be prevented with the right skills. YOU could be the person who makes the difference in an emergency!

Dallas County Emergency Management and local first responders are currently conducting a hazmat and mass casualty exercise north of Adel.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Dallas County EMS Mini Conference today! It was a great afternoon filled with education, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

A huge thank you to all of our presenters and skills instructors who took the time to share their knowledge and expertise. Your dedication to education and improving EMS makes events like this possible.

We also want to thank all of the local EMS providers and first responders who came out to spend part of their day learning and growing with us. Your commitment to continuing education and providing the best possible care to the people we serve does not go unnoticed.

Two Lifesaver Awards were awarded for exceptional teamwork and swift actions that led to the successful resuscitation of two patients in cardiac arrest. We also presented a Stork Award for the successful delivery of a baby girl. As we close out 2025, Dallas County EMS reflects on a year of dedicated service to our community. Throughout the year, our crews responded to 3,257 calls for service, representing a 3.4% increase in call volume from the previous year. Each call reflects a neighbor, family member, or visitor who needed help during a critical moment.

We are deeply grateful for the trust and support of the community. It is an honor to serve you.
