Help us out!!

Hello past students, friends, family, and and supporters of our Social Work program! As many of you know, I’m the Program Director of the Adrian College Social Work Department. It’s been an incredible experience to watch students learn, grow, and launch into their social work careers (and life beyond college!). This Giving Tuesday we are we are collecting donations to help our Adrian College Social Work program continue to grow - and we need your help!

We are in the midst of developing a cutting edge classroom and simulation lab that will provide students with the opportunity to engage in individual and group therapy role plays and simulations. This practice in a simulated setting will enhance their active listening skills, clinical skills, and allow opportunities for implementing treatment modalities in a space that is equipped with the proper furnishings and technology. This technology upgrade will also allow faculty to record and review these skills to ensure mastery and competence.

These donations will specifically go toward: furniture to create individual and family therapy settings, cameras/computers/ technology for recording and viewing practice sessions, and simulation software licensing that allows students to practice assessment and treatment interventions on virtual clients.

Please help our program provide a wonderful, cutting-edge, and innovative learning atmosphere!
