With sad regrets, I am here to inform you all, we have just been informed of Opie Pauls passing.
Op was a Vietnam vet and did a LOT for our post and all Vets. Will post more info as it gets to me. He had a blood clot bust in his stomach during surgery.

Op, I have no words to tell you how much you mean to all of us. You were more like an actual brother than an in-law. I can’t believe you’re gone. My heart is broken 😭 This doesn’t feel real. We were just on the phone bs’ing last night and now you’re gone. It’s not right. I wish we didn’t live so far away. Mary, my heart aches for you sister. I wish I could be there to just hug and comfort you. I know how much you loved Op. Life will not be the same

With sad regrets, I am here to inform you all, we have just been informed of Opie Pauls passing.

I have been asked to inform all our members and friends of another VFW member Jack Ostrum. He is in Toledo Hospital as he just had a leg amputated last week on the 11th. He had a bad infection on the left foot due to blood and oxygen not circulating correctly. No visitors allowed, but he is expected to go home this week and start rehab therapy.
A benefit in his honor is in the works. Anyone willing to help with this can call or message me. Sharon Norden
