Put your nursing skills to work serving your community! Public Health Nurses work directly with residents through health education, clinic assessments and services, communicable disease investigation, community outreach, program development, and continuity of care.

💧 Free lead-reducing water filters are now available to eligible Lenawee County households.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has expanded its Get Ahead of Lead initiative statewide, giving more families access to free certified water filters and replacement cartridges.

Households may qualify based on Medicaid enrollment and certain plumbing or fixture conditions.

The Fall 2026 Health Check is Thursday, September 24, from 8 AM to noon at the Align Center in Adrian.

All health screenings are 100% FREE, with labs and services including:
🔹 22-point blood panel
🔹 Vitamin D screening
🔹 Hemoglobin A1C
🔹 PSA screening
🔹 Blood pressure checks
🔹 Nutrition and medication counseling
🔹 Adult immunizations for those who qualify*

⏰ 8 AM – Noon
📍 Align Center, 440 E. Church St., Adrian

A Drug Take-Back Event will also be available for the anonymous, safe disposal of unused or expired medications.
