In digging about a stash of old photos I found ‘Goof’ (circa 2003) and you may note it’s written in the middle of his forehead. He was a bd gift to my fav ex-husband Walter Scott. It’s certainly not an award winner but I confess I had great fun in doing it and Walter truly loved it.

My Ski Instructor days…being first on the chairlift to watch the sunrise. Then it didn’t feel finished and I just happened to find Starry Nights. Felt I should add it to my painting! Enjoy!

So new the paint isn’t quite dry. Introducing (almost biblical) Joseph With a Beak of Many Colors. He’s now available for Christmas and will look wonderful over a mantle. Standing a full 2’x4’ he’s a bird who knows the Winter Winds over Grand Lake of the Cherokees. His current home is on Monkey Island But is available for transport anywhere across the USA. My old friend Doug drove in for a short visit today and unfortunately his wife and son were NOT dog friendly. They’re cat-people. I can understand that but you’d know the Doodle absolutely did everything in her power to make friends with them. She would try to sneak around the couch in an attempt to get close to them. Eventually she kinda gave up and accepted that only Doug enjoyed her company.

Not to let a photo op pass without pics he scooted over beside me and just as we’re set to do the standard smile at the camera here came the Doodle who wasn’t going to be left out. In spite of my admonishing her she wasn’t getting down or even sitting down. It became one of those instances where once we began laughing we couldn’t stop. Best pic of 2024 for me!
