Our staff pick this month comes from Erica in Information! She picks the manga series Gachiakuta, by Kei Urana. She says: "I've been on a real manga kick lately, and Gachiakuta is the series that prompted it! Rudo, a teenager living on the floating island called the Sphere, is accused of a crime he didn't commit and cast into the Pit, where all the Sphere's trash goes. There he becomes a part of the Cleaners, a group of misfits with possessions that have gained magical strength. Gachiakuta has fantastic art, fantastic designs, and fantastic characters. Every character feels loveable and grounded, amidst plenty of great humor and cool fights. A very strong recommend for any fans of manga or folks who just want a bit of punk escapism!"
