What a weekend we had in Lincoln County. We here at the Agra Fire Department and the other fire departments across the county participated in a County wide weekend of training. Hopefully we can keep this rolling for years to come. Here are some pictures from yesterday. Thank you Oklahoma State Fire Service Training for the help and coordination of the weekend. We are so blessed to have you all as Partners.

Today, July 13th is the day that voters will decide on two different propositions. Whether to build a new county jail and whether to form a countywide emergency medical service ambulance district. Both of these issues are very important issues for many different reasons. We encourage everyone to do their own research and do what’s best for your families. We know everyone may not agree on either of these issues including members of this department. So we won’t use our page to try and sway our followers and supporters one way or the other. However, we do ask that you please GO VOTE!!! Also, please share this message with your friends and family.

Late night fire mutual aid NE fire. Great group that was fighting tonight. Got the job done safely and with no loss of structure. Had a few trucks get stuck but the fire is out and all units are back at the station.

3 of our firefighters spent their Saturday in Advance Fire Behavior training down at Camp Gruber. OSU Fire Service Training and Camp Gruber hosted the State Fire School this year and like always they put on some of the best training opportunities for free. Keep watching our page because I will be posting some videos from inside the trailer AKA (The Can).

Fire crews spent last night and early morning hours today putting out approximately 150 round bales of hay. Crews from Northeast Lincoln County Fire Department and Iowa Tribe Fire Department assisted with equipment and man power on this very labor intensive fire. Both departments did an awesome job and we greatly appreciate each of them. I’d also like to mention how amazing it was to see several neighbors and friends of this family who showed up to help. The equipment and expertise of the operators sure made this daunting task much more manageable. MIsty McFarlin Thank you for the Braums burgers and cookies you supplied to all the crews. Your generosity sure meant a great deal to everyone who was there.
