Today, the Aguila Fire Department joins the firefighting community across the nation in honoring the three brave wildland firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while battling the devastating fires along the Utah–Colorado border. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, and fellow firefighters, and we pray for the full recovery of those who were injured. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten.

As Arizona continues to experience extremely dry conditions and an elevated wildfire risk, we would also like to remind our community that Maricopa County is currently under fire restrictions. Please do your part to help prevent wildfires by avoiding activities that could spark a fire, following all fire restrictions, and reporting any signs of smoke or fire immediately.
Together, we can help protect our firefighters, our neighbors, and our beautiful Arizona communities.

Good morning everyone,
As some of you may have noticed, we recently planted a couple of mulberry trees at the park to help improve the area and provide better shade for our kids and families to enjoy.
Unfortunately, yesterday evening a few kids were seen pulling on the trees and removing the support stakes that help keep them stable while they take root and grow properly.
We kindly ask all parents to please speak with your children about respecting the park and community property. The basketball hoops at the park have also been replaced several times due to damage, and unfortunately they do not last long either.
These improvements are made for the benefit of the entire community, and with everyone’s help we can keep the park safe and enjoyable for all.
