Hey Y'all!! Just hours away! From WHAT?! Well...THE AHOSKIE PUBLIC LIBRARY 9TH ANNUAL BACKYARD BBQ COOK-OFF!! That's what! I just left the Ahoskie Festival Grounds and saw the team sites all setup ready to get their pigs! Cooks were getting those cookers going and getting their instructions! But these guys and girls don't need instructions! They're professionals! And tomorrow around noon we get to eat the fruits of their labors!! And I don't know about you but I'm going to make sure I've got plenty in my freezer to last a while! Come and see us! Eat some great!! GREAT BBQ and help us build a new library for Ahoskie!! Come early and thank these teams that stay up all night and cook these pigs that taste so good but also help us year after year! Hope we see you all tomorrow, Saturday, September 10, 11:30-2 at the 13 Annual Ahoskie Heritage Day Festival for the Ahoskie Public Library's 9th Annual Backyard BBQ Cook-off!
