Love a good book and great conversation? Join us on Aug. 24 and Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. for special book club discussions connected to the Americans and the Holocaust exhibition.

Participants will receive a free copy of either The Book Thief by Markus Zusak or Maus by Art Spiegelman, courtesy of the Roanoke-Chowan Community College Library.

We are excited to host the Americans and the Holocaust Traveling Exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association, August 22–September 25 at the RCCC Library.

🎉 Grand Opening:

Join us for refreshments and an official welcome from RCCC President, Dr. Williams.

📚 Exhibit Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.

🏫 Schools & Groups Welcome!
School visits are encouraged. The exhibit is recommended for middle school students and older due to the subject matter. Groups of 10 or more must make a reservation.

📚✨ Members of the Ahoskie Woman’s Club gathered today at Roanoke-Chowan Community College for docent training in preparation for the upcoming Americans and the Holocaust exhibition, opening Aug. 22 in the R-CCC Library. Their dedication will help provide visitors with a meaningful and engaging experience as they explore this powerful traveling exhibition from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association. The exhibit examines Americans’ responses to the Holocaust during the 1930s and 1940s and encourages reflection on the role individuals and communities play in shaping history. We are grateful for these volunteers and their commitment to education and community engagement.
