Roanoke-Chowan Community College is proud to announce a $1 million grant award from the Golden LEAF Foundation to support the expansion of our Allied Health programs.
This investment will fund new training equipment, technology and professional development while supporting a new Allied Health training facility on our Hertford County campus. The project builds on a $15 million state investment and will significantly strengthen healthcare workforce training in northeastern North Carolina.
“This investment by the Golden LEAF Foundation is transformative for our college and the region we serve,” said Dr. Murray J. Williams, president of R-CCC. “By expanding our Allied Health programs, we will increase access to high-quality training, address critical workforce shortages in healthcare and create more opportunities for our students to succeed.”
We are grateful for Golden LEAF’s continued commitment to rural communities and workforce development.
