Park 1️⃣3️⃣ of 1️⃣9️⃣: Johnny Wood Park - 109 Swathmore Ave. North Augusta

Johnny Wood Park is a 3.65-acre park leased by Aiken County from the Aiken County School District. The park is proudly home to the Belvedere Dixie Youth Girls Softball program, where generations of athletes have learned the game, built friendships, and created lasting memories.

In 2018, one of the park's softball fields was officially named Byron's Field in honor of Byron Burckhalter, recognizing his many years of dedication, service, and commitment to the Belvedere Girls Softball program. His passion has helped shape countless young athletes and strengthen the local softball community.

Tucked away in the heart of the community, Earnest Weaver Park has been serving residents since it was acquired by Aiken County in 1989. Though the park sits on just 0.64 acres, it offers plenty of opportunities for recreation and family fun.

Whether you're looking to play a pickup game, enjoy a picnic, or let the kids burn off some energy on the playground, Earnest Weaver Park is a great place to spend time outdoors.
