🎓 Congratulations to the Leadership Aiken County Class of 2026!

This incredible group celebrated graduation after a year of learning, collaboration, and service to our community. Together, they raised $33,000 to help purchase a new bus for The Salvation Army of Aiken, completed improvements to the Salvation Army Shelter through Project Enhance & Empower, and secured additional funding to support the shelter’s future.

Their legacy is one of leadership in action, and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll continue to make across Aiken County. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

👥 Meet Martha Ruthven

During her time in LAC, she and her classmates helped invest in the leaders of tomorrow by supporting scholarships for the Aiken County Career & Technology Center, updating teen spaces at Helping Hands, and supporting the SC NextGen Leadership Network summer program at Aiken High School.

💛 The 2026 LAC class is still hard at work making updates to the Salvation Army Shelter!

Final touches of paint were recently added to the bathrooms, along with new curtains. With only a few finishing touches left, the transformation is coming together beautifully.

🚌💛 Here it is — the new bus the LAC Class of 2026 helped purchase through funds raised from Boots, Beats & Eats!

It may not be wrapped yet, but it’s already making an impact and being put to use for the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Youth Center and Shelter programs.
