Fridays in the summertime at Children's Place mean one thing: Water Day! 💦

Every week, our playground turns into a splash zone complete with slip n' slides, mini pools, water blasters, and plenty of smiles! ☀️

Water Days are more than just a way to beat the heat — they’re a fun-filled sensory experience that encourages exploration, movement, and joy while giving our children the chance to cool off, build confidence through play, and simply enjoy being kids. 😎🧡

Self-care was on the agenda for our recent Staff In-Service Training Day! ☀️

From board games and basketball to pickleball, sunshine, and a little time to simply relax, our team took a moment to recharge and connect with one another.

When we take care of ourselves, we’re better able to care for the children and families we serve every day. 💙

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and almost 11 years on staff, Patty brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and dependability to our day-to-day operations. One of her favorite parts of working here is the people—“I’m grateful to work with such a supportive group,” she shares. ⁣

Patty strives to “create a well-organized, efficient environment that helps our team succeed and supports the organization’s long-term success.” She is truly the backbone of so much that happens behind the scenes at Children’s Place. Her dedication, attention to detail, and steady leadership help keep our organization running smoothly every day. ⁣

THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night to participate in our final CWN event of the year, AND to the “Good Girls & Guys” celebrity waiter team and restaurant staff for helping us end the season strong! Your tips and raffle ticket purchases directly support our therapeutic childcare program, providing children in our area with the therapy services they need to heal, grow, and thrive. 🩵⁣

Throughout the month of May, some of our Owls class had the opportunity to participate in a weekly tennis clinic at Odell Weeks with the one and only Coach Donald Moody! 🎾⁣
⁣
The kids learned the basics of tennis — from the parts of a racquet to how to hit the ball — all while getting exercise, practicing listening skills, building patience, strengthening social skills, and most importantly… having FUN!⁣
⁣
A huge thank you to Coach Don and his amazing crew — Coach Bush, Coach Mark, and Coach Joseph — for investing their time and hearts into our children each week. To make the experience even more special, they gifted each child with their very own tennis racquet and ball at the end of the clinic! We are so grateful for their kindness, encouragement, and the joy they brought to our kids all month long. 💙⁣
