With kids being home more these days does your child know how to get help if something goes wrong? What number do they call to get EMS, Law Enforcement, or Fire? This helpful video is a great way to teach and watch with your child. Our telecommunicators (Dispatchers) want to be able to get them the help they need if a event ever occurs. We hope all parents and educators help us educate all our children. Aiken County Public School District CSRA Kids

Book donations restricted...please pass on, thanks!
My parents visited the library yesterday and asked for a chair for my father. Everyone was super nice, got him a chair right away. Mom was able to browse for books without worry. Thanks so much! Our library is such a pleasure for many of us.💕
Just wondering why you have removed all benches, chairs, magazines, and closed the bathrooms? The CDC guidelines show that COVID is not likely to be spread via hard surfaces. Masks and social distancing are the key. My mother loves to visit the library but now there is no place for my father to sit while he waits on her. Also many less fortunate folks used the library computers and newspapers on a regular basis. And God forbit you might need to use the restroom. Seems to me the elderly and poorer citizens are the losers in these decisions. I think you can count on library patrons to practise common sense while using your facilities.
She loves the s.t.e.m stuff
What are the locations of the various AABE libraries? 🤓
Do you have any young child story times during the weeks of 12/24 or 12/31?
Will you guys be doing the Wednesday summer activities for kids like you've been doing the past few years?
YOu know what would be powerful? If the elevator was fixed so ALL citizens could use the library!! I'm pretty sure it's illegal to not have a working elevator and it's unexceptable that it's been broken for so long!!!
Please share and spread the word as we join together for one night a month. No matter what our affiliations or beliefs and struggles, we are in this together!
Where is the splash down tomorrow?
Please join us TOMORROW night for 15 minutes of hope and togetherness and KINDNESS! Please share!
