Congratulations to our newest homeowner. Today we celebrated Pam and her family. She is now the proud owner of our 140th Aiken Habitat home with an affordable mortgage. Pam put in sweat equity by working along side our volunteers every weekend participating in the construction of her home and also attending financial counseling provided by Security Federal Bank. It’s through the continued support from our community that we are able to provide a safe and affordable housing through our homeownership program.

Construction of our 140th home in Aiken County is underway and over the next few months will be completed and purchased with an affordable mortgage by a deserving family.
Not much progress today due to the snow. However, over the past three weekends, our amazing construction volunteers have framed the house, sheathed and house wrapped the exterior walls and installed the trusses. Today we celebrated our newest Aiken County Habitat for Humanity homeowner and her family with a dedication ceremony. This home is our 139th home and 14th Women Build. Thank you to all those who support Aiken County Habitat. Without you we would not be able to fulfill our mission to provide safe, affordable housing and homeownership with an affordable mortgage to those in need.
