Shelter is not a privilege — it’s a human need. We know that to a brighter future. That decent, affordable housing plays a key role in an individual’s education, physical and mental health, wealth, and well-being. Not everyone has the same opportunities to succeed, but with your help we can to new possibilities.

Construction of our 140th home in Aiken County is underway and over the next few months will be completed and purchased with an affordable mortgage by a deserving family.
Not much progress today due to the snow. However, over the past three weekends, our amazing construction volunteers have framed the house, sheathed and house wrapped the exterior walls and installed the trusses. Today we celebrated our newest Aiken County Habitat for Humanity homeowner and her family with a dedication ceremony. This home is our 139th home and 14th Women Build. Thank you to all those who support Aiken County Habitat. Without you we would not be able to fulfill our mission to provide safe, affordable housing and homeownership with an affordable mortgage to those in need.

In order to help during these difficult times, Aiken Habitat wants to keep the Blessing Boxes full! We will be a drop-off location for the Blessing Boxes. Please consider supporting this effort by dropping off NON-PERISHABLE FOOD and/or HYGIENE ITMES, Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM,and we will stock the Blessing Box. Hey there ...the holidays are getting close, and we want to help make sure that no child goes without this Christmas. The Aiken County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a drop off location for Toys for Tots again this year and we need your help. Simply bring in a NEW, UNWRAPPED toy and drop it off in the Toys for Tots drop off box at the front of our store. You must bring it into the store, not the donation area in the back, and simply drop it in the box. It's that simple!! We have over 2 months to fill up our drop off box, and if you do, don't worry we will get another one for more! Please help out so that no child has to wake up to nothing under their tree this holiday season. These are the dates of collection for the Toys for Tots drop off boxes so please drop those toys off ASAP. Pick-Up of Collection Boxes: Thursday, December 4, 2025 through Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Thank you so much!!
