Tomorrow is the day!! Family Fun Day is almost here. Come by and enjoy games, face-painting, food, and the opportunity to learn about some of United Way of Aiken County's wonderful partner agencies and all they offer to our community.

We will be at the Price Ave. Picnic Shelter at Odell Weeks from 11am - 2pm on Sept. 5th!

We had a blast with Game Day at United Way! Our partner agencies put on a great agency fair for event attendees to learn more about just how important the dollars raised through the United Way of Aiken County Campaign are. We had a fantastic cast of UW commentators with us for the program. Thank you to our volunteer leadership for their willingness to wholeheartedly support the annual campaign effort!

We want to say a special thank you to our sponsors: Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken Electric Cooperative, and the Family Y - Aiken. And also to Fearless Church, Byron Bush, each of our county's High School's for letting us display your football helmets, and East Aiken School of the Arts for all they did to make today's event not only possible, but SO fun!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate the 2026 Campaign Kickoff with us!

We are looking forward to a great campaign and meeting our goal of $2,001,658 to provide funding for over 40 Critical Need Programs providing assistance to people in our community everyday! United We Win!!

Today, we mourn the loss of a truly extraordinary woman.

Dolly Parton’s impact reaches far beyond her music. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she gave millions of children the gift of books and the opportunity to dream.

At United Way of Aiken County, we are especially grateful to be part of that legacy. Through our partnership with the Imagination Library, we help provide free, high-quality books to children in our community from birth to age 5, helping families build home libraries and inspiring a lifelong love of reading.

Dolly understood that sometimes the greatest gifts are the ones that open a child’s imagination and make them believe that anything is possible.

Her voice, her generosity and her belief in children will live on in the lives of generations to come.

Thank you, Dolly, for giving so many children a reason to dream. ❤️📚

Rest easy, Dolly. Your legacy is in good hands.

On September 5th, from 11am - 2pm come by the Price Ave. Picnic Shelter at Odell Weeks Park for games, prizes, face-painting, free food, and lots of fun!
