Here is what our Community Building and Engagement team have been up to with our residents the past two weeks!

In the first two photos Kent State University's Generations Connect Group brought cultural foods from different regions in Africa to Zion Terrace Senior Apartments. In photos three and four our social services coordinator brought donuts to the seniors at Oxford Place to celebrate Father's Day coming up this weekend!

Devoted Health also came by to Middlebury Commons and Village at New Seasons to educate our seniors through a game of bingo and brought pots with seeds. At PROMISE Apartments we brought water balloons and chalk for the residents to play in the warm Spring sun!

Here are 5 Energy Saving Tips for your home provided by our Manager of Energy Services!

1. Open and close outside doors quickly to reduce drafts.
2 Dress for comfort.
3. Close off spaces that are being unused during the day.
4. Utilize nature by opening up your blinds.
5. Unplug your electronics from the outlet when you are not using them.

Fact: Demand for affordable housing far exceeds supply. Even qualified applicants often wait years for a unit to open up. The shortage is not a matter of applications. It is a matter of units.
