Washington County Ambulance Service has been successful in the FY2014 EMS Grant and was awarded $144,900 for the purchase of a new ambulance! Thank you to the CDPHE EMS Grants Division, NCRETAC, SEMTAC and the Washington County Board of County Commissioners!

Gary Peterson, Tony Wells, and Kelly Chenoweth listens to the findings of the 2013 Washington County EMS Consultative Visit. The Washington-Yuma Combined Communications Center received high praises and is a "fine example of inter-governmental cooperation. There was universal praise for the services and professionalism of the communications center by all Washington County emergency response agencies participating in this assessment.".

Washington County Ambulance Service was successful in getting the CREATE (Colorado Resource for Emergency And Trauma Education) grant which will help off-set student costs.
