Beginning as the Charity Organization Society of Akron, Greenleaf opened under the auspices of Goodyear founder F. 🌟 May Top Leaf Employee of the Month: Alyssa Foltz! 🌟
For the second time, Alyssa wins this award for her dedication to Greenleaf's ASPP program and team.

Alyssa is Greenleaf's ASPP (Adolescent Su***de Prevention Program) Prevention Manager and has been with the agency for over two years.

During this time, Alyssa has proven herself to be a caring leader willing to go above and beyond to support her team. Whether someone is facing a personal challenge, celebrating a success, or seeking professional growth, Alyssa treats them and the situation with respect, understanding, and encouragement.

Alyssa is also key to the success of the ASPP program. Among many duties, Alyssa works with school schedules and personnel, attends and gives trainings; and writes grants to secure program funding. At the same time, she also regularly takes the time to check in with her staff, advocate for their needs, and create opportunities for them to grow and succeed. That dedication does not go unnoticed, making this award all the more special.

Thank you, Alyssa, for all you do 🙏- for your team, for Greenleaf, and for the thousands of kids who participate in ASPP throughout Greater Akron and Summit County. 🌟🌱🌟

What are you doing June 6? Actually it doesn't matter!
We'd love to see you at Night at the Races, but if you can't make it, you can buy a horse or two, keep your current plans and still win💲. Whether you're attending or not, the DEADLINE IS MAY 22, unless they sell out before then.

🌟🌱We are pleased to recognize Julia Prock, Behavioral Health Clinician, as April’s Top Leaf Employee. 🌱🌟

Julia was nominated and chosen for consistently demonstrating integrity, respect, connection, growth, and especially, compassion - for the families she serves, and her coworkers.

One recent example was when Julia volunteered to cover a sick colleague's front desk shift. She is also known to handle all interactions with professionalism and grace, showing empathy for all individuals, especially during a stressful situations.

Now enrolling! Greenleaf's Teen Anger Management Group is back. It is a 12-week, structured program designed to help teens, 13-17, better understand their anger and develop practical skills they can use in everyday life for better health and wellness.

Group topics include:
• Understanding different styles of anger
• Healthy communication skills
• Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries
• Practical coping tools and strategies teens can practice outside of group

Program Details:
• Teens ages 13–17 (all genders)
• Mondays, 5-6 p.m.
• Greenleaf Family Center, 580 Grant St., Akron, Ohio 44311
• Duration: 12 weekly sessions
• Groups limited to eight participants - so contact Greenleaf soon!

This group is open entry; teens may begin any week once enrolled. We will keep an ongoing wait list in case a group is full.

Referrals should contact Greenleaf at 330-376-9494 ext. 209 or fill out a TEEN MANAGMENT intake form at www.greenleaftctr.org/individual-family-counseling to get scheduled. You can also find additional registration, enrollment and cost requirements at the website or use the QR code above.
